Binghamton, N.Y., August 11, 2018 --  The American Football Association recently formed a strategic partnership with SignMeTV to provide worldwide distribution from the AFA's ever expanding library of video content. With more of our member leagues producing high quality, live video streams of their games, the integration of branded content channels and OTT delivery is a natural progression. OTT or "over-the-top" is the term used for the delivery of film and TV content via the internet, without requiring users to subscribe to a traditional cable or satellite pay-TV service.

This new capability dramatically expands the AFA's international presence distribution of streamed video content on Smart TV and Set Top Boxes worldwide. Initial programming starts August 12th at 3pm EST and will feature rebroadcasts of the Empire Football League's Game of the Week as a recurring broadcast 3pm to 6pm each Sunday.

Dave Burch, President & CEO at the American Football Association, stated that more cross-programming of AFA content will start coming live on SignMeTV's distribution platforms over the next few days as we continue to work out logistics. Planned follow on programming will include archived AFA Hall of Fame Inductions, current member league video content and historical archived productions.
